We’re back for the eighth edition of Farr Festival taking place at Bygrave Woods from Thursday 13th – Saturday 15th July 2017.
Over the past few months we have been listening intently to your feedback and looking at ways to improve Farr Festival. For 2017 we venture deeper into the woods with enhanced production, new areas to explore, improved security, louder sound across all stages and an eclectic medley of local and international selectors and live performers to keep you on your feet.
Our campsite is central to your festival experience, so next year we will be expanding it, giving you more room to pitch your tent and a broader variety of food and drink offerings, plus more toilets, chill-out zones and a dedicated information point for all your queries. Friendly stewards will be on-site patrolling the campsite and keeping the toilets, water points and bin areas in tip-top shape.
We’ll be introducing our dedicated food village at Farr set within the main festival arena, offering more food options to choose from, plus a shaded seating area where you can pull up a pew and enjoy your meal alongside your mates before you head back into the woods.
There will be a new area outside of the woods to host talks, workshops, film screenings plus an interactive art zone and a new live music stage.
We have also teamed up with local taxi firms to offer a fixed rate fare from the festival to local train stations. A shuttle bus service will be operating from Baldock train station to Farr Festival as well.
Registration for super early bird tickets remains open until (10am) Thursday 6th October. Keep up to date with our happenings and announcements through our social networks.
