Today we are delighted to announce the first wave of acts joining us for the eighth edition of Farr Festival taking place between Thursday 13th - Saturday 15th July 2017 at Bygrave Woods in Hertfordshire, just 40 minutes outside of London.
Both set to play live sets at our brand new live stage, legendary Norwegian producer Todd Terje, the man behind iconic disco groover “Inspector Norse” will helm Farr Festival alongside German tech-house specialists Booka Shade.
Taking full control of the woods Floating Points will bring his sophisticated blend of jazz, electronics and otherworldly delights to Farr, whilst Irish mainstay Mano Le Tough will showcase a deeply melodic and emotionally-provocative experience, guiding the less discerning listener through the deeper realms of electronic music.
Straight out of the Motor City, FXHE label boss Omar-S is set to bring the heat to Farr with his exquisite lineage of jacking Detroit-inflected analog jams, alongside full-throttle sets from Helena Hauff, Mr G, Leon Vynehall, Red Axes (live) and long-standing Fabric resident Craig Richards.
Red Light Radio + Music From Memory residents Tako, Jamie Tiller and Orpheu The Wizard will join forces for a mind-expanding back to back set with additional DJ action from Sassy J, Suzanne Kraft, Tornado Wallace, plus live performances from rising French bands Syracuse and Dazion.
Other acts include Mister Saturday Night, Detroit Swindle, Axel Boman, DJ Tennis, Honey Dijon, Young Marco, Willow, Kornél Kovács, Avalon Emerson, Chaos In The CBD, Or:la, Henry Wu, Moxie, Sadar Bahar, Adesse Versions plus Going Good honcho Brian Not Brian and Jayda G for some B2B fire.
The eighth edition of Farr Festival is our most ambitious to date and we cannot wait to party in the woods with you again. We’ve got new stages to experience, areas to explore, plus a flurry of live acts, bands, DJs and stage hosts to get you revelling in the woods like never before. More acts and announcements to follow... this is just the beginning!
